After all the dreaming, I come home again...
Again, I'm slacking big time in the updating of *poofgone*. I guess I've been
preoccupied with homework (errr...or not), sociallizing and making the Forest
5B page the kickass collaboration of floor quotes, videos, and pictures. It's
really very cool, but I started this site to be about me. Selfish, no? ;-)
Anywho, things are going well. About a week and a half ago, I auditioned for
a show, and got cast! I'm horribly excited, being a freshman and all that jazz.
Rehearsals start tomorrow. I have to ditch my choir for them...I'm hoping I
don't have too many conflicts with my classes.
I've been talking to Allie a ton lately. Probably be yesterday was her birthday!
Love her a ton! And all of my friends from home, of course. Somedays I miss
y'all more than others. :-p
I'm now working on a homework assignment that was due last Thursday. I figure
it's better than not turning it in at all. And considering I slept through class
...yeah. Bad Gail. Perhaps it's because I never sleep here. The past three nights
I've been up past 5am. Granted it's the weekend, that's still UBER BAD! So tonight
I'm going to be in bed before 1am. I hope...
Not much else going on. I've been downloading West Wing episodes like it's my
job. I love that show so very much. I can't wait to get the Season One DVDs.
And I'm spent.

They sleep all, they sleep all day...
Due to a *ahem* suggestion from Patty, I've decided to update this page. I've
been spending so much time working on the Forest 5B
site, that I assumed this was updated as well. WRONG! A week later, and it's
still dead. I apologize to my loyal fanbase. All...one of you? Pat, honey...I
think you are the only one who checks in on a regular basis. But I love ya for
it!!
Anywho. All is still well on the IU front. I'm liking it, yadda yadda yadda.
I've been spending beaucoup de temps working on the website, with pictures and
quotes of all my new friends. You should check them out! Pictures and Quote
linkes are on the left side of the Forest 5B page.
When I have something actually exciting to post, I will. Until then, catch me
on AIM to get a more of a story!

This used to be the place we ran to...
I know I haven't updated this in a while. But that's okay...because I say it
is. I got the compact flash card reader that I was waiting for, and thus I've
been able to get pictures off my camera and onto the site. Right now it's only
pics for dorm peoples. Soon I'll try to put up a page for mes amis back home.
Soon. I promise.
The important part is that the
pictures have been uploaded. So go take a look. I think it's pretty nice.
Maybe soon I can put actual captions so that y'all will know who the pictures
are of.
EEEEE! Due to a football game today, freshman are parking their cars in the
lots close to the dorms. Which means we can take Chad's car to Target and Starbucks!!!
WOOO! Later loves!

Fat bottomed girls, you make the rocking world go 'round...
My new project...a page for my dorm floor! Forest
B5 rocks! Complete with pictures and quotes.
[...]
That is to say...it will be. Later. When a) I get my compact flash card
reader. And b) I figure out how to make seperate pages. Shoudn't be too hard,
right?

What little I have you can borrow cause I'm old and I'm blue...
I've been trying to keep in touch with people lately. Zoe emailed me to give
her an update on all things Gail, and I decided instead to call her back with
my stories and exchange some fun college tales. And a few days before I called
Allie at 11pm to have her help a guy on my floor with his Calculus and proceeded
to talk to her forever and a day. I called her back later in the week to ask
how to stretch out my shins. These hills here are killing my legs. Especially
when I wear flip flops everywhere! But fear not, I have recently bought a cute
new pair of shoes that are not sandals (basically my ONLY pair) and so that
will get better with any luck.
Then last night, I talked to Becca for damn-near two hours. Which rocked so
much! I miss all my girls from home and all my friends from all over. It's so
nuts to be starting this new life, but still be so connected with everything
back home. We about just about everything including how I miss the fine arts
wing back at DHS. The people in the programs, the teachers, the classes, the
extracurriculars. And mostly the relationships that I made there. I've already
been in touch with Carl through email, and I sent one to Eric. I'll probably
send one to Akers soon and Susan. I can't wait to go back and visit them!!!
I've also tried to talk to Pat and Jason over the phone. But you know guys and
phones, so those converstaions have been somewhat fruitless. But of course,
I love them both anyway, and everyone really. I miss everyone from home and
wish I could bring them all here with me. I definitely don't want to leave,
because I'm loving life here, but I want everyone to come be with me. Perhaps
I'm just selfish. ;-)
I guess it's about time to go get lunch. I just wanted to update because I haven't
in a while. I don't know if anyone even reads this, but that's okay. I'm still
liking it, and if I'm paying to have it, I may as well use it.
LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Don't you see the kingdom? Hold your crown so high...
I know I haven't updated in a hella long time, but I'm been uber busy. Classes
started on Monday, so today is day 3. Not too bad, I suppose. I like my French
class and I'm pretty sure that everything in the book is stuff that I've already
learned, with the exception of some of the vocabulary. Which is what I like
to learn anyway...so I'm content. My communications class is a bitch and it
involves a lot of reading. Essays and articles and boring english stuff...but
I don't even get the english credit. Art appreciate and my history class both
seem really interesting and I hope that they'll prove to be a good learning
experience as well as nice and easy. Acting is good too. I didn't get into the
demonic class like Michael, so I think mine should be pretty good. I'm excited
for it. And my choir seems really good too. It's a later class (7 until 8:30pm)
but the director is good and it makes me really happy to sing again. I loved
choir in high school. Though I think a lot of that is due to Mrs. Akers and
her extreme rocking of the house.
So that's classes. I still love my floor. Last night was amazingly fun. Starting
with yoga and ending up hanging out with Lela, Jessica from A tower and the
gay boys. So many laughs. Didn't end up going to sleep until 3am. There's always
something to do, which is good. Because you know what they say about idle hands...
And truthfully, I don't actually know what they say about idle hands, but it
can't be good. So now I'm going to sleep until my 5:45 class. Because I was
up late and woke up early with nightmares. Death, destruction and maternal conflicts...my
favorite subjects. :-\
