The next installment of my European adventures. Sorry mom, I'm still not in any of these. Didn't want to risk having my camera stolen while I traveled alone. But I promise to have Allie take pictures with me in them...probably when we're in Italy.

Pretty French buildings:

It began to downpour shortly after arrival, so it was gray and gloomy. Oh, and the beach is entirely rocks (I took about 10 of different colors and sizes for souvenirs):

Lots of benches under a white awning thing...too bad it didn't keep out rain:

The view from my hotel window. I was upgraded from a 14 person dorm room to a 3 person hotel room with attached bathroom. It was nice. Oh, and the entrance to the "Hotel Paradis" was directly between Louis Vuitton and Armanni stores:

The next day, the rain cleared up and it was beautiful out. I actually got a sunburn:

The water and sky was absolutely gorgeous. I didn't know such beauty existed in this world:

More pretty buildings, with amazing trees, all facing the Mediterranean:

Pretty flowers and trellis thing. There were beautiful parks everywhere:

Any idea what flower this is? It was really cool looking:

And one last picture of very French Riviera buildings:

Nice was amazing, and I took so many more pictures than just these. Most are of the water and rocky beach and sky, so I thought the repetition was unnecessary. Next update will be of Madrid and Barcelona. I leave Sunday night on an overnight train to Madrid. I'll be back in Paris that Friday.

My cell phone number here (when dialed from France): 06 72 49 11 17

To call from the US, I think you dial: 011 33 6 72 49 11 17...but definitely check before you try. I haven't been able to make a call to the States yet, something's wrong with the system, so I'm not sure if I can receive calls from there either. But you can try! Remember: France is 6 hours later than the Eastern time zone, and 7 hours later than Central.

Proceed to Paris pictures...
