AHH! I have class in...oh wait...
Late-arrival half-days are amazing. I had 89 minutes of school today. And I went to Panera for lunch before it. It was sweet. And tomorrow, my first class is at 11:34. So I don't have to get up until about 10:30 (assuming my alarm doesn't go demonic again and wake me up an hour and a half before the time it was set for. God, I hate that thing. Stupid cell phone).

*ahem* Tangent much?

I'm going to try to update this more. I don't really like to, because this format sucks a great deal. If I had Dreamweaver transferred correctly or had Patty not been a total slacker and bothered to put it on a disk, I could be working on making it better. Pat also thinks I should purchase a domain. Hmmm. Things to think about.

Note: Don't let the =:-} get your 3:-0

"Fourth Quarter" Starts To Set In...
4 Fall Plays. 4 STUNTS. 4 Musicals. 2 Dance Shows. 3 Spring Plays.
Tonight marks the closing of my 16th production. My last Dance Show. My last production as a crew member. Of all 17 shows that I've done...15 have been crew.

Tonight is my 74th individual performance (yes, I counted). I'll have 79 by the time my Senior year comes to a close. 79 shows. Sitting backstage, or in a booth, or perched on scaffolding. From shifting to stage managing. Wow.

I feel that there will inevitably be tears tonight as I experience my 16th closing night. And my final curtain call for stage crew. Crazy.

New Thoughts on Old Topics...
Patty was rather rude and forceful earlier when demanding that I update. :-( Since I didn't want to feel his wrath, I figured I'd change some stuff that's a little behind. I edited the playlist situation, so now it truly is what I'm listening to at the moment. Right now I have both Tracy Chapman and Elton John loaded, though I'm listening in the order on the right, so I'm in the middle of Elton now ("Sacrifice"). I'm just waiting until the loop from "Your Song" to "Talking 'Bout a Revolution". I think it'll be funny. Maybe I'm the only one...

The kids (my niece and nephew) are currently upstairs decorating Easter eggs. Mama offered to let me dye a dozen. I regretfully declined. The good news is that Zoe stopped screaming/crying and they are no longer running through the house like crazed elephants.

I need to get out of the house. Where did everyone go?

4/7/03-ish?
Speaking of music...
I attempted to listen to some Jason Mraz today. About 12 of his songs, 2-3 times through. And I feel bad saying that I really wasn't impressed. Not to hurt any feelings or step on any toes (actually...I take that back. It's my opinion and I am free to state it), but it just. Many of the songs sounded like others I had heard. Like...blatant rip off. And many were severely lacking in sounds that appealed to me. Especially the vocal ones, which I am usually very in to. And a few were "dance party USA, teeny bobber shit" (thank you, Warren) that didn't seem to fit with his voice/song selection. He's a John Mayer. John Mayer does not sing anything other than his suburban, white male, DMB rip off schtuff. Perhaps Jason Mraz shouldn't either.

Wow. Actual content there. Go me.
